On behalf of the Hardin family I would like to thank Reliable Funeral Home for their professionalism and their kindness towards my family during this very difficult time. My father who is a native of St. Louis lived in Key West, FL for over 60 years and the one thing he requested during his decline was to go back home. With the help and guidance of Reliable and especially Mr. Bennie my daddy returned home to be forever reunited with his St. Louis family. Words cannot express how difficult this is but because of the collaboration between Key West Mortuary and Reliable Funeral Home my family is able to breath a sigh of relief knowing that my daddy was well taken care of on his final journey.

At the request of my mother in 2010, she wanted Reliable to handle her funeral. When my wife passed in May of 2020, there was no question who'd groom and dress my wife, Reliable Funeral Home.

I don't know if the corona virus made a difference but I communicated with just two individuals which was a blessing. Benny Thomas was professional, honest and transparent. The moment I met Benny, Benny came across as a friend I've been knowing all my life, which caused me to trust Reliable.

Benny was not at the funeral but the young man who lead the others from the funeral home was great. He was an extension of Benny's attributes. Again, the young man was the only one I communicated with. I speak of the limited amount of people I communicated with is because of two scriptures, which come to mind; 1 Corinthians 14: 33"... God is not the author of confusion..." and 1 Corinthians 14:40 "Let all things be done decent and in order."

I would truly recommend Reliable Funeral Home to assist in all your burial needs.

I would like to commend Reliable Funeral Chapel on well done job they did on my dad. They didn't put a lot of make up on him. He looked like he was sleeping peaceful. That's what made or grieving easier to deal with. This is the first funeral home I can say did a awesome job. I definitely give them 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The staff was very professional and. Caring. I attended my sister-in-law’s funeral on 11/16/18. Madam Isabella Stephens was put away with great finesse!! The skill and expertise Reliable Funeral home portrayed on ensuring my sister looked phenomenal was superb. She laid there as if she was sleeping! Her face and hands were well groomed.

Dear Mr. Nelson & Mrs. Eva Thomas and Family,

First, I want to thank you for an excellent dressing for my brother, John Farrow.
I viewed John’s body on Thursday, 9-6-18 and I was so impressed. But, I had no doubt of how he would look because you are the best in the business. Not only was I impressed with his final make-up but the parlor was beautifully decorated, super clean and the scent was sweet spelling, I thank you!!!

I also want to thank you especially for getting out of your bed to talk to me and my husband, Michael and my sister-in-law, Nita on Tuesday morning, 9-4-18. I was so grateful for your time; and we all appreciated it. It made me feel special especially with us coming there unannounced and so early.

I thank God for making everything happen the way it did; with your immediate attention toward the planning of my brother’s funeral. I was speechless and thrilled when I found out that he could be buried at Jefferson Barracks. That was my prayer and you made it happen! Thank you.

Mrs. Eva Thomas, you are such a beautiful lady inside and out and you always have a warm greeting smile on your face. I thank you for being with the family at the funeral on Friday, 9-7-18 and you looked so very pretty. I really admire your beauty and talent.

Mr. Nelson Thomas, I thank you so very much for being with the family at the burial ceremony on Monday, 9-10-18. It was great and it made the family feel proud. I saw the caring and love. You greeted me with sincere sympathy. I will always remember what you and Mrs. Eva Thomas did for me and my family. May God, bless you both always.
