Louis Weeden, was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Louis was born on January 29, 1940 in Tunica, Mississippi to Robert and Sarah Weeden. He was the fifth of seven children. Louis developed an importance to hard work and dedicated his life to God early in life. In high school he developed a keen eye for fashion, and was always known for his impeccable style.
Louis was a dedicated member of the Greater Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church for 64 years, where he served as the elder Deacon on the Deacon Board, choir and male chorus member, and a faithful Sunday School attendee. He also recorded a single with Greater Bethlehem Mass Choir entitled 'Trouble Don't Last Always'. Louis had a passion for serving others and found great fulfillment through his work in the church.
Louis was preceded in death by his mother and father, Robert and Sarah Weeden, siblings: Atha Weeden, Robert Weeden Jr (Thelma) , George Weeden, Henrietta Weeden, Cotteris Weeden (Daisy (living)); brother-in-love Lee Artis Nelson Sr. (Ethel); sister-in-loves Earnestine Kendall & Avis Davis (Cedric (living)). He leaves to live on his legacy the love of his life, Maxine Weeden; Daughters, Sonja Bishop (George) and Demetrice Weeden; Two loving granddaughters, Jasmine Spann and Jihan Grady-Holmes (Kelsie); His great-grandson, Shawn Edmondson Jr.; His remaining sister, Irene Moore (Frank).
